SoulShine Schools and The Known Mama are excited to announce an innovative program designed with mothers and child(ren) in mind.
It’s a six-week support group providing moms with emotional and mental wellness while their child(ren) delves into a holistic, permaculture-based curriculum. Knowing childcare is often a barrier to moms’ self-care, this program provides the solution–intentional time and content that supports the woman behind the mom and the child(ren).
Group dates will be released soon, beginning Spring 2023.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Known Mama brand is built on the idea that moms are meant to be known–known by self, in relationships, and in community.
Doing the self-discovery and leaning into it means you show up for yourself more authentically. This deeper ‘knowing’ of self, ripples across areas of your life--shifting relationships; changing patterns; strengthening bonds; and finding or solidifying your purpose. Thus being known leads to your wellness. As The Known Mama founder, I aim to inspire and steward moms toward betterment by teasing the woman out from the mom, healing moms by empowering the woman within.
As a mom of three, it’s relatively easy to say we’re more than moms, but far more challenging to act, think, feel, and even mother from that place.
In some ways, The Known Mama brings moms back to the basics of who she was before motherhood, who she is now, and who she hopes to be moving forward. I started The Known Mama because I wanted to break generational cycles in my mothering, and to do that I needed to delve into myself–the obvious and not so obvious. And while I prophesied the work to be challenging, it was worth it so I could mother from a deep, profound place. Because that’s what my kids need and deserve, and that’s what I need and deserve. A radical thought occurred to me: I must care for myself, before my child(ren) if I want to love them the way I desire. Perhaps this resonates.
The Known Mama, however, is more than that. It’s a community of women who validate and uplift one another. It’s a village of women who share life experiences, past and current struggles, and longings for themselves and their child(ren). The program creates a safe and judgment-free community, in which you no longer feel alone.
So if you’re a mom looking for some support, and ready to commit personal time focusing on the woman within, we’d love to have you.
The mother-version
“The Known Mama” understands the hardship and reward of motherhood. While countless products on the market cater to babies and young children, The Known Mama recognizes that the woman behind the mom is just as important.
As a mom, getting caught up in the day-to-day responsibilities of caring for your family is easy and we often forego our own needs and wants. The Known Mama curriculum reminds us that we are first women, before moms, and investing in her is necessary for personal well-being and to love our child(ren) well.
The Known Mama has something for every mom.
The Known Mama helps you focus on the uniqueness of your mothering. Rather than an unreachable, universal standard of ‘perfection,’ The Known Mama teaches and encourages women to mother from a place of their own healing and individual gifts. This helps moms find more joy and fulfillment in their roles and be better equipped to handle the challenges that come with motherhood.
This program is more than just a product or service provider - it's a community of women who support and uplift one another. As a mom, it can be isolating at times, so The Known Mama offers a safe and welcoming space where you can connect with others who understand and can relate to what you're going through, while encouraging you to be the woman and mother you 're meant to be.
Additionally, The Known Mama brand and program offers a range of products and services designed to help you take care of yourself, both physically and emotionally. From gift boxes and online courses to one-on-one psychotherapy and community support.
